Our community has faced unimaginable devastation from the recent tornado, but in times like these, we find strength in each other. Rolla is more than just a town—it’s a family. As we begin the journey of recovery, we encourage everyone to come together, support one another, and lend a helping hand where possible. Below, you’ll find information on available resources for those in need, as well as volunteer opportunities for those looking to assist in the rebuilding efforts. Together, we are Rolla Strong!
LOCAL RESOURCES

- The Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) will be set-up at the Missouri S&T Campus Student Rec Center March 25th and 26th. Click HERE for more information.
- Elissa’s at Benton Square has a salon full of shampoo, conditioner, and sinks that anyone without power is welcome to use.
- Parsons Backhoe & Services is offering free cleanup for veterans. Please call Rick at (573) 801-3642
- Ozark Farms is offering RV hook up spaces as well as shower/laundry/restrooms/WiFi available. Use code ROLLASTRONG and stay a free week on us. OzarkFarms.org
- The Rolla Mission is offering meals, laundry and showers (They will provide the laundry soap and toiletries), as well as a place to charge your devices. They also have spaces available for people to stay overnight while they are displaced from their homes.
- First Baptist Church, 801 N. Cedar Street
- Red Cross: shelter, daytime rest center, water, snacks, cleanup kits, damage assessment
- Southern Baptist Disaster Relief: chaplains on site for spiritual needs, shower facilities including ADA accessible shower, water, moving boxes, chainsaw crew, debris moved to curb, possibly tarps (if those supplies have arrived and are available).
- Salvation Army has snacks, drinks & clothing. They will also have a mobile canteen distributing 1 hot meal per day to affected areas.

- Rolla Church of Christ has supplies that include food, clothing, cleaning supplies, personal hygiene items, and water. Low-income families or those with no insurance who experienced loss from this tornado can apply for a room of furniture and one major appliance. Distribution will be open from 1:00 – 5:00 PM on Wednesday and 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Thursday.
- Toy Storage has 5, 8×20 units with wood floors that are weather tight that they will donate for 6 months to any person or business in need. If you are interested, please call 636-551-8735
- GRACE is offering food, cleaning supplies and hygiene items. Please call 573.368.5577 for assistance. You do not have to be a client to receive this assistance.
- Carol House Quick Fix is available this week if your pet needs limited medical attention or food.

TRASH DEBRIS DISPOSAL/STORM TREE DEBRIS
- Curb it. The city is actively loading storm tree debris that is stacked at the curb.
- Storm tree debris can be unloaded at the Oak Lane Road site.
- Storm tree debris can be taken to the Compost site past the Recycling Center off Old St. James on McCutcheon from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Separate best you can, (metal from wood etc.) and the city will pick-up once other priorities are cleared. It might be a couple weeks.
- Small loads that can be off loaded by hand, can be taken to the dumpster site on Sharp Road from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
- Housing debris can be taken to the transfer station.
VOLUNTEER – DONATION OPPORTUNITIES
- The Phelps County and Meramec Regional Community Foundations are accepting donations to the Phelps County Disaster Relief Fund to support disaster recovery from the March 14 tornado in Phelps County. Contributions made to this fund will be distributed through the Phelps County and Meramec Regional Community Foundations to nonprofits assisting with tornado relief and long-term recovery efforts. All donated funds will remain in Phelps County. Click HERE to donate.
- The Command Center for volunteers has come to a close. 573-415-9878 will no longer be operational. Those that are still interested in volunteering, need to check-in on the fourth floor of the Rolla City Hall, 901 N. Elm Street. Questions or citizens with needs can be directed to 573-426-6942. If unable to answer your call, please leave a message, you will be called back.
- RPS Teacher Donations: If you would like to make a monetary donation to help with teacher needs, you can donate to CORE and they will ensure the funds go directly to the 35 teachers whose classrooms were damaged by the storm. You can donate at rolla31.org/core or make checks out to CORE and deliver to 500 Forum Drive. Please add “teacher classroom supplies” to the online instructions or check memo line.
