Each fall, the Rolla Area Chamber of Commerce Education Committee proudly presents the Outstanding Educator Award to recognize an exceptional individual within the Rolla Public School District. This award honors educators—including teachers, aides, counselors, and volunteers—who demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, commitment, and a dedication to creating a positive learning environment that prepares students for success beyond the classroom.

Nominations are accepted each year from April through May. To be eligible, nominees must work within the Rolla Public School District, have direct contact with students, promote student involvement in the business community, contribute to the education profession, and actively engage in the community.

Recipients are selected based on the quality of the nomination, not the number of submissions received. This award reflects the Chamber’s ongoing mission to strengthen connections between local schools and the business community.
